Welcome to Thalassa* Cottage!
We believe that our home is the perfect summer rental! It sleeps 12, so you can have lots of your friends or family with you. It’s a short walk from the beach or the shops, but far enough from the hubbub to let you really “get away from it all” and relax. It features a large deck for relaxing in the sun and a big common room downstairs for everyone to hang out in when it’s time to come in. And it has central air conditioning, to keep you cool on those hot summer nights!
*Why “Thalassa”? Thalassa is the Greek word for the sea. We are fans of both antiquities and the sea!
Our family loved this spot. The cottage has a great layout, with plenty of spaces for people to find quiet and to gather together for fun. So close to our favorite beaches and downtown.
House was even better than described. Very clean, comfortable home. Kitchen was very well appointed!! Beds and pillows were comfortable, together with a very quiet dead-end street, meant a good night sleep. Just a mile to Wellfleet center and even less to the waterfront. Great local restaurants ... we really never needed to leave the town! With P-Town only 20 minutes away, we couldn't resist one outing.
Lovely house with an ideal amount of space for a big group of people. Rowan was an awesome host & very easy to communicate with leading into our stay. Overall awesome experience in a great house in an ideal location to downtown Wellfleet.
This place is a great location and value! We loved the deck, outdoor shower, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Also great to have bedrooms upstairs! Allowed for some sleeping in of a few adults while others hung with kids downstairs! Rowan was a very responsive and helpful host. We had a lovely stay and hope to return!
Thalassa Cottage is a comfortable, quiet retreat close to town, the harbor and great restaurants. The outdoor shower is awesome and the huge deck has plenty of seating for everyone in your party. We also loved the enclosed porch on the lower level -- perfect place for enjoying a good book!
We found the house just as described: clean, spacious, and tucked away in a quiet part of the lovely town of Wellfleet. Rowan and Varia were prompt to respond to messages. We loved our stay and would definitely visit again.
